If you were injured at work and your claim is accepted, treatment is billed directly to WCB Alberta rather than to you or your own benefits plan. We provide work injury rehabilitation in St. Albert and handle the reporting.
How to start
Report the injury to your employer. Open a claim with WCB Alberta. Book with us and bring your claim number. We report to WCB directly from there.
If your claim number has not come through yet, book anyway. We can begin and attach the number once it arrives, and waiting for paperwork is rarely good for a fresh injury.

What we treat
Back and neck injuries from lifting, twisting or sustained posture. Shoulder injuries from overhead or repetitive work. Knee and ankle injuries from slips, falls and uneven ground. Wrist, hand and elbow strain from repetitive tasks. Injuries following a workplace accident, including post-surgical rehabilitation.

Treatment aimed at the job you actually do
This is where work injury rehabilitation differs from general physiotherapy.
Getting comfortable sitting in a clinic is not the same as being ready to lift forty pounds off a pallet forty times a shift. Rehabilitation is built around the physical demands of your specific role, which means we need to know what your work genuinely involves rather than your job title.
Tell us about the lifting, the reaching, the standing, the repetition and the shift length. Returning to a job you are not prepared for is the most common route back to the same injury.

Reporting and modified duties
WCB requires progress reporting through the life of a claim. We complete that, including recommendations for modified duties where a graded return is the safer route.
Modified duties are not a demotion and they are not a permanent status. They are a bridge that lets you work while the injury continues to recover, and they usually get you to full duties sooner than waiting at home.
